Bus Transportation to Camp
Charter bus service from the Bay Area is included in the enrollment fee.

Our friendly driver has been at this a long time.

Please arrive at the departure and arrival area 30 minutes prior to the time indicated for the bus. Be sure that all your equipment is well marked with your name. Do not use expensive luggage. Either bring a lunch with you or around $15.00 for the lunch stop in Redding, to and from camp. No money is used at camp.


Palo Alto
Departures and arrivals will be from the Cubberly Community Center parking lot, located at 4000 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, CA 94303.

Directions to Bus Departures and Arrivals
From Santa Cruz and other points south of Palo Alto

• Take 17N to 85N to 101N to the first exit
• Old Middlefield Way merges into Middlefield Road
• Go past San Antonio Road to the third signal light
• The driveway to the parking lot is on the left-hand side opposite Montrose Avenue.

• take 101S to San Antonio Rd.
• turn right onto Middlefield Rd

Be sure to arrive at 6:30 a.m.!

Berkeley
Departures and arrivals will be from the Cal Adventures & Sailing Club parking lot, in the Berkeley Marina on University Ave.

Directions to Bus Departures and Arrivals
From South 580 or 80

• Take Interstate 80 to Powell St. take a left under the freeway and right onto Frontage Rd.
• Follow Frontage Rd. to University Ave - The Seabreeze Market is on the corner
• Take a left onto University and follow the directions below
• From South 880
  • Take the University Ave. exit and the lower ramp that goes under the freeway
  • Take a right at the first intersection (Hearst) and go up Hearst to 6th Street light
  • Take a right onto 6th and the next right onto University
  • Go over the overpass and continue straight into the Marina.
• From North
  • Take Interstate 80 and get off at the University Avenue exit in Berkeley
  • Take a left onto University toward the Bay

Continue down University, the road will straighten out after the 2nd stop sign (Marina St.) turn into the dirt parking lot with the Cal Adventure sign. If you go too far you will come to the Berkeley pier.

Be sure to arrive at 8:00 a.m.!

Doesn't it seem much too early to be on a bus in summer?

From Camp

Buses will leave Scott Mountain at 9:30a.m. And will arrive in Redding at 11:00 a.m., Dunnigan rest stop at 2:00 p.m., in Berkeley at 4:00 p.m. and Palo Alto at 5:00 p.m.

Parents
Please arrive on time.   Sometimes the return buses can be early!
